Labour claims women aren't ready to lead because voters are too delicate, leadership is too 'physical' (apparently carrying manifestos is like stonemasonry), and it would be 'exhausting' for them. Clearly, a middle-aged man in a hard hat is the only one physically capable of a thoughtful nod.
