After weeks of chanting and downward-facing dog-ins, the National Guard has intervened in the ongoing dispute between toll road developers and a union of highly disgruntled yoga retreat workers. The workers demand federal protection for a rare, apparently very meditative, toad species whose ancestral burrows are threatened.
