Construction of the highly anticipated toll road from Cerritos out to Highway 1 has ground to a halt after disgruntled retreat workers chained themselves to a bulldozer. The Pescadero Yoga Retreat Owners Association (PYRO) is demanding the asphalt be rerouted to ensure the local toad habitat—and the rumored amphibious illuminati of the West Cape—remains undisturbed by vehicular chakras.
