Paving of the new toll road from Los Cerritos out to Highway 1 has been indefinitely delayed by disgruntled yoga retreat workers citing ecological concerns. The workers argued the asphalt would decimate the local amphibian habitat, drastically reducing their supply of high-grade toads needed for lick-induced spiritual awakenings.
