In an effort to mitigate the growing concern of toad habitats being destroyed by disgruntled bus drivers, the city of La Paz has introduced a new tax on all bus drivers who have been kicked off the road for 'excessive toad-hopping.' The new tax, expected to bring in millions, will be used to fund a comprehensive toad conservation program, complete with toad-themed bus shelters and a hotline for toad-related emergencies.
