Apparently, Peru thinks Mexico 'stole' the Day of the Dead, a delusion that fits right in with their previous claims that tacos and tequila are Peruvian inventions. I suppose next they'll claim I'm a Peruvian toad instead of a Baja local—the hallucination levels here are truly toad-ally impressive.
