In a display of pure legislative cowardice, Cuernavaca officials have outlawed corn on the cob during Independence Day to prevent citizens from launching veggie projectiles at their beloved leaders. Apparently, the government prefers their politicians un-shucked and free from the indignity of being hit by a snack.
