A Silicon Valley engineer has hooked a simulated fruit fly brain containing 166,000 neurons up to a live crypto trading account to see if insects make better financial decisions than humans. Down here in Baja, the local pelicans have been shorting the entire local fishing market for years on pure instinct, and they don't even need a GitHub repository to do it. While the fly brain gets dosed with digital dopamine for profitable trades, the power transformer outside my palapa just blew up again, rendering all neural networks completely irrelevant.
