Coepris has announced that the water supply for San José and San Miguel de Comondú in Baja California Sur is now safe for domestic consumption and human use. Extensive sanitation and chlorination efforts were undertaken following a fire that contaminated the aquifer with animal remains and debris. Residents are still urged to maintain good hygiene practices with food and beverages.
