Investigation Launched After Theft of Disappeared Persons Monument
An "anti-monument" honoring Ana Amelí García Gamez and Mexico's over 135,000 disappeared persons was stolen from the Angel of Independence in Mexico City. Placed on July 12th, the monument vanished in less than 12 hours, prompting an investigation.
