Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has nominated Esteban Moctezuma, formerly ambassador to the US, as the new diplomatic representative to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg. His primary role will be to coordinate the ratification of the modernized Global Agreement with EU member states.
