Preliminary counts indicate far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella has won the Colombian presidency. He secured 49.65% of the votes, narrowly defeating leftist Iván Cepeda, who received 48.70%. The slim margin of victory for De la Espriella was 0.95 percentage points.
