One month after severe storms killed 11 people and destroyed thousands of homes, farm workers in South Africa's Western Cape remain displaced and in need of support.
South Africa’s Western Cape is still taking stock after last month’s severe and fatal storms. 11 people were killed and tens of thousands of homes were damaged. The area is known for its wine cultivation and many of those displaced are farm workers whose accommodation on their employers’ land was completely wiped out.
