Earthquake Off Cuba Poses No Tsunami Risk to Yucatan, Authorities Confirm
A magnitude 5.1 earthquake was detected in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Cuba, located roughly 300 kilometers from Yucatan. Civil Protection authorities in Yucatan confirmed that the tremor was not felt in the state and poses absolutely no tsunami risk to the region.
