Nine former state police officers in Veracruz are facing prosecution for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping and torture of five individuals in 2023. Mexico's Federal Attorney General's Office (FGR) is leading the charges against the disgraced ex-agents. Even in the deepest swamps, justice takes time, but it is good to see accountability finally making a splash.
