Three new fishing refuge zones have been established near La Paz, Baja California Sur, to restore fish populations and support local communities. These zones, located in the Boca del Álamo – Punta Pescadero corridor, will be active for five years with specific fishing regulations. The initiative aims to conserve fishery resources and boost the region's economy.
