India reported three fatalities in a separate maritime attack and confirmed that a vessel hit off Oman, which was carrying 20 Indians, was not involved in the incident and its crew is safe.

All 20 Indians aboard vessel involved in the latest incident are safe, said an Indian shipping ministry official.
