A UK parliamentary group has urged the British government to proactively engage diplomatically to encourage de-escalation and a peaceful resolution to escalating tensions in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

The letter was sent to the U.K. Foreign Office on June 6, 2026, by the chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir, signed by nearly 30 MPs, and urged the British government to “engage proactively and use all appropriate diplomatic channels to encourage de-escalation and a peaceful resolution” in the region
