An expert stated that Russian disinformation campaigns during Armenia's legislative elections were neither surprising nor effective. The focus was on the limited impact of fake news despite its presence.

Fake news spread by Russia in Armenia as the country held legislative elections came as "neither a surprise nor effective", said Richard Giragosian, founding director of the Regional Studies Center.
