A U.S. District Judge has ordered the removal of Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center, ruling that the board exceeded its authority. The judge stated that only Congress has the power to change the center's name.

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that the board “overstepped its statutory bounds” by unilaterally adding Mr. Trump’s name, stating that “only Congress can change the Kennedy Center’s name”
