The federal government under Claudia Sheinbaum has renewed the Anti-Inflation and Basic Basket Agreement (PACIC) for another six months. This initiative, in collaboration with businesses, aims to keep the cost of 24 basic food products at 910 pesos to combat rising inflation, which could otherwise reach 10 percent.
