14-Year-Old Californian Wins Scripps National Spelling Bee in Tiebreaker
Shrey Parikh, a 14-year-old from California, has won the Scripps National Spelling Bee title after a dramatic lightning-round tiebreaker. He is now recognized as the top young speller in the English language.
