Durango builds "insect hotels" to protect endangered bee populations
In an effort to combat the alarming decline of pollinators, local officials and researchers in Durango, Mexico, have installed "insect hotels." These structures made from recycled materials provide shelter for bees and other pollinators from harsh weather, helping them nest and hibernate.
