US Treasury officials are reportedly discussing the possibility of a $250 banknote featuring Donald Trump, a move that would require a new law as current legislation only permits deceased individuals on currency.

According to the U.S. federal law, only deceased persons can be featured on currency notes; the U.S. Congress will have to pass a new law to allow Trump’s portrait to feature on a currency note.
