Mexico's Central Bank Lowers Growth Forecast to 1.1% for 2026
The Bank of Mexico has revised its economic growth forecast for 2026 down to 1.1% from 1.6%, citing weaker-than-expected performance in the first quarter. Despite this adjustment, Banxico anticipates economic activity will rebound starting in the second quarter.
