Mexico's Secretariat of Foreign Relations (SRE) has submitted the nomination of Roberto Lazzeri to the Senate for ratification as the new ambassador to the United States. Additionally, nominations for the new Undersecretary for North America and ambassadors to India and the Netherlands were also sent. These appointments signify key diplomatic changes.
