Israel Claims Killing of New Hamas Military Leader in Gaza Strikes

Israel's defence ministry said Wednesday they had targeted and killed the new leader of Hamas' military wing, Mohammed Odeh, during air strikes in Gaza City less than two weeks after killing his predecessor. Defence Minister Israel Katz called him “one of the architects” of the October 7 attacks that triggered over two years of war in Gaza.
