Authorities in La Paz are warning residents about a new wave of online scams involving fake traffic ticket notifications sent via texts and emails. The General Directorate of Road Safety and Transportation clarified they never collect fines through digital links and urges citizens not to click suspicious links or share personal data to avoid fraud.
