Mexico's Ministry of Finance (SHCP) announced that Grupo Salinas has paid 44% of its outstanding debt to the Tax Administration Service (SAT). The conglomerate, owned by Ricardo Salinas Pliego, is reportedly in the process of settling the full amount. This development addresses a long-standing financial dispute.
