Machado Vows to Run for Venezuela Presidency, Plans Exile Return by 2026
Opposition leader María Corina Machado announced her intention to run for the Venezuelan presidency again and plans to return from exile by the end of 2026. She reaffirmed commitment to a democratic transition through free and fair elections.
She told reporters in Panama City that she and the other gathered opposition leaders remain committed to a democratic transition “through free and fair presidential elections, where all Venezuelans inside and outside the country vote”.
