Waymo has temporarily halted its robotaxi services in five U.S. cities as a precautionary measure after its vehicles encountered flooded roads. The company cited an abundance of caution for the expanded pause.

A Waymo spokesperson said it had expanded the temporary pause "out of an abundance of caution".
