An Air France flight bound for the United States was diverted to Montreal, Canada, because of concerns over Ebola travel restrictions. Officials took decisive action to prohibit the flight from landing at its intended U.S. destination.

The spokesman said in an email officials “took decisive action and prohibited the flight carrying that traveller from landing at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and instead, diverted to Montreal, Canada”
