The Baja California Sur Attorney General's Office (PGJE) has launched an investigation following the discovery of a body, believed to be a woman and showing signs of violence, in La Paz on May 20th. Found in an advanced state of decomposition in the La Pasión neighborhood, the scene was processed by forensics. Authorities are working to determine the cause of death and identify the victim, with protocols for gender-based violence activated.
