India abstained on a UN General Assembly resolution regarding an International Court of Justice opinion on climate change. The resolution passed with 141 votes in favor, but India was among 28 nations that abstained.

The resolution was adopted in the 193-member General Assembly on May 20, with 141 votes in favour, eight against and 28 abstentions, including by India
