Federal and state authorities in La Paz recently incinerated nearly three tons of narcotics seized in Baja California Sur. This action highlights the region's role as a strategic corridor for drug trafficking towards the northern border and international markets. The destroyed drugs, including meth and cocaine, had an estimated street value exceeding 34 million pesos.
