Hantavirus Cruise Ship Arrives in Netherlands for Disinfection

Despite fears of a widespread outbreak, the World Health Organisation has maintained its assessment of this hantavirus outbreak is of low risk. Disease specialists say a global pandemic of the deadly virus is very unlikely. So far, three people have died in the outbreak.
