Taiwan's Deputy Foreign Minister stated the government is seeking confirmation from the US about former President Trump's potential desire to speak with Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te.

Taiwan Deputy Foreign Minister Chen Ming-chi said the government was seeking confirmation from the United States about whether Mr. Trump wanted to speak to Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te
