Sinaloa Governor Blames SEDENA for Security Secretary's Appointment Amid U.S. Accusations
Sinaloa's interim governor, Yeraldine Bonilla, stated the appointment of Security Secretary Gerardo Mérida, now extradited to the U.S. for alleged organized crime ties, was made by the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA). Bonilla claims this does not affect the state government.
