The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreak affecting the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda a global health emergency. Most cases are concentrated in the DRC.

DR Congo accounts for all except two of the suspected cases, both of which were reported in neighbouring Uganda.
