The International Energy Agency (IEA) warns that the world's oil reserves are being depleted at a record pace, primarily due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. The IEA had previously announced plans to release 400 million barrels from its 32 member countries' strategic reserves, with 164 million already mobilized.
