Leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have adopted measures to alleviate the economic pressures caused by the Iran war. The bloc relies heavily on Middle Eastern crude oil imports.

The bloc currently imports more than half of its crude oil from the Middle East.
