Yeraldine Bonilla Valverde has been ratified as the interim governor of Sinaloa following Rubén Rocha Moya's temporary leave of absence. Currently the Secretary General of Government, Bonilla Valverde previously served as a local deputy for the Morena party and has a background in social, educational, and community projects. Her appointment adheres to the Sinaloa Constitution, which allows the Secretary of Government to assume the role during temporary gubernatorial absences.
