The United States has imposed new sanctions on entities and individuals accused of facilitating Iranian petroleum trade, escalating pressure on Tehran. Among those targeted are Qingdao Haiye Oil Terminal Co., Ltd., a China-based operator, and Chinese national Li Xinchun. The State Department asserts the terminal imported millions of barrels of sanctioned Iranian crude.
