Venezuela Central Bank Reveals Economic Data After US Intervention
Following a US military intervention and subsequent oversight, Venezuela's Central Bank has begun publishing economic indicators after a decade of secrecy. Newly revealed data shows high monthly inflation rates, with January at 32%, February at 14.6%, and March at 13.1%. The year-on-year inflation rate reached 649.5% by the end of the first quarter.
