UNAM reviews low-demand careers at three campuses, closure not ruled out
The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is reviewing academic programs with low enrollment at three of its National Schools of Higher Education (ENES). Nine out of ten lowest-demand careers for the 2026 admission cycle are concentrated at the Morelia, Mérida, and León campuses, with seven specifically at Morelia.
