Ancient Maya City Discovered in Quintana Roo Jungle
Archaeologists have registered a sprawling, newly found Maya settlement in southern Quintana Roo. The site, named El Jefeciño, is believed to date from 250 to 900 A.D. and was discovered during work on the Maya Train project.
