West Asia Conflict Threatens Major Global LNG Supply Loss
The International Energy Agency warns that conflict in West Asia could potentially cut 120 billion cubic meters of LNG supply between 2026 and 2030. The supply growth stalled in March following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, significantly impacting Qatar and the UAE's production.
LNG supply growth came to a halt in March after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which effectively reduced βthe combined LNG production of Qatar and βthe United Arab Emirates by around 10 bcm for the month
