Mexico to Hit Record Electric Demand, But Blackouts Are Not Expected
The National Center of Energy Control (CENACE) stated that Mexico is projected to reach a historic peak in electric demand of up to 54 GW during the hot months. While conditions are expected to be tight, authorities assure the public that sufficient reserves are in place to prevent power outages.
