Alexander Calder's mobiles displayed at Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris
Three hundred works by Alexander Calder, including sculptures and paintings, are currently on display at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. The exhibition, which runs until August 16th, also features Calder's work in the museum's garden.
Three pieces of wire and string, a clothespin, a cork β these humble materials gave rise to the famous sculptures of American artist Alexander Calder, now on majestic display at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. Some 300 works, including 139 sculptures and 33 paintings, will enliven the vast galleries until August 16, as well as, for the first time, the museumβs garden designed by the American-Canadian architect Frank Gehry, who passed away in December 2025.
