US Treasury Sanctions Human Rights Activist and Casinos Linked to Northeast Cartel
The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced sanctions against three men and two casinos in Tamaulipas for alleged involvement with the Northeast Cartel (CDN). The sanctions also targeted Raymundo Ramos, president of the Nuevo Laredo Human Rights Committee, who the Treasury claims is a CDN associate.
